Bulk update - Customize multiple products simultaneously
Sometimes you want to update all products in an article group or from a supplier. This saves you a lot of time by adjusting a lot of information at the same time. For example, the selling price, if this has become more expensive due to a higher gold price. Or data to make the products more findable online.
What data can be updated simultaneously?
- Ean
- Product number supplier
- Product name (for the website)
- Label description
- Brief description (for the website)
- Long description (for on the website, but not mandatory)
- Article group
- Brand
- Supplier
- Last date of purchase
- Gemstone grinding shape (under property)
- Gemstone color (under property)
- Grinding shape (under property)
- Gemstone purity (under property)
- Gemstone type (under property)
- Product categories, such as Watch and Jewelry (under property)
- Product category type, such as Ring, Bracelet, Necklace, Earrings (under property -> category)
- Other product characteristics, such as size and weight (under property -> category)
- Price (sale price) and VAT (under location)
- Internal description (under location)
- Gender
- Sell on webshop switch
- Webshop institution
How to customize products in bulk?
1. Click 'Bulk Updates' in the menu on the left
2. Click on the 'Change product properties in bulk' option
3. A new screen appears. Select the data you want to update by clicking the square in front so that it turns green.
By default, the fields 'Article Number', 'EAN' and 'Product Number Supplier' fields are selected.
4. Click on the 'Next' button at the top.
5. A new screen appears. Click on the blue filter icon behind the 'Search' button.
6. Find a supplier, article group or brand.
7. Click the Search button to load the results.
Do you want to search products by part of a product number?
- Please fill in this in Searchtext
- Under the Search filter, select the type of number you are looking for (article number, product number, EAN)
- Click the 'Search' button to load the results.
8. Change the data in the columns.
It is important to update page by page before moving to the next page.
9. Use the blue check boxes in the second column to select the records you want to customize.
10. Click the green button 'Start updating my products'.
