Connecting cash drawer

It is possible to open the cash drawer from PrismaNote via a thermal receipt printer.

To do this, you need to follow the following steps:


1. The cash drawer must have an RJ11/12 cable.


2. You need to connect the cable to the appropriate port on the receipt printer.

3. Do you use the Epson TM-T20III (supplied) Epson TM-T20III? Then you can connect the drawer here:


4.Depending on the type of connection, you can now turn on the cash drawer in PrismaNote.


4.1 Do you use a receipt printer via a network cable?

  • In PrismaNote, go to Store Settings â†' Checkout and adjust this option (right column):
  • Click on 'Save'.



4.2 Use a voucher printer through aUSB cable?


  • Then in PrismaNote, go to Store Settings â†' Print settings and adjust this option:



The cash drawer is now ready for use.

The drawer will be opened automatically after a customer (partly) paid in cash.

In the checkout, a button is now available to open the drawer manually.
