Serial numbers

Products from expensive brands can have a unique serial number for warranty and theft.

In PrismaNote, you can add it to the purchase order when booking articles.

You can also export a list from the menu 'Assortiment'.

Add serial number

Do you want to give each product a unique serial number?

- Click the 'Serial number' button after a product is added to the purchase order. You can click as often as the 'ordered number' of the product.

- Enter the serial number in the field.

- Click the 'Save' button after the serial numbers are added. You can then edit it again.

Search by serial number in checkout

Do you want to find a product based on serial number?

- Click on 'Cashout' in the menu

- Turn on the search bar under the search bar.

- Type the serial number in the search bar.

- The product is now found on the serial number.

Export serial numbers

Do you want an overview of all your serial numbers?

- Click on 'Assortiment' in the menu.

- Click the button at the top right corner.

- Click on the 'Export serial numbers'.

A file is now created and downloaded with the item number, supplier's product number, serial number, status (whether it was sold or still available), and store location. It is also visible whether the product is booked as property, sight or consignment.
