Thermal and Laserjet print problems


Important:PrismaNote is a cloud program and works completely online. This means that the PC or tablet does not have to do anything itself, except for printing. For this you use the PrismaNote Printhelper program on every PC. This program is normally turned on automatically when you turn on the computer.

Is there no voucher or label coming out of your printer?

Then go through these steps.


1. Make sure that the PrismaNote Printhelper program is active on the computer to which the printer is associated, this is the following icon in your toolbar:

2. If the program is not active, first click Start:



3. Now type in the word helper and click Open:





4. Does the program ask for a password?




You can find this information in the Store Settings under Print Settings:

Additional tips for laser jet and inkjet printers

1. Is the printer not on pause? (Press the Start button of the printer once to remove the printer from any pause mode)

2. Is there enough paper?

3. Is there enough ink?

4. Is there paper stuck in the printer?

5. Is the printer well connected to the computer?

6. Does the printer not work outside of PrismaNote? Create a new text file in Word or Notepad and try to print it.

-Does this work? Restart computer.
-Does this not work? Turn off printer. Restart computer. Turn on the printer.




Thermal receipt printers

1. The printer is not responding.

  1. Does the second light flash? (3) Then the printer does not have a stable network connection.
  1. Turn off the printer, wait 30 seconds and then turn it on again.
  2. Replace PrismaNote and try again.


  1. Is the third light flashing (2)? : Check the paper supply.
  1. Hold down the paper button (1) until a piece of receipt comes out.
  2. This does not work: open the printer check the paper quantity and supply.



2. The printer does print, but the voucher is empty.

The role may be wrong in the printer. Open the printer and make sure the roll is in printer like this:
